WorkBoat Magazine and the International WorkBoat Show are pleased to present the 3rd Annual Shipyard Day honoring the boatbuilding industry.
At The International WorkBoat Show 2008 | Morial Convention Center | New Orleans

The day will feature an industry keynote, the announcement of the WorkBoat Magazine’s 10 Significant Boats of 2008, and a networking reception. New this year, the day will recognize those businesses and government agencies operating in the US maritime industry who have successfully incorporated environmentally sustainable practices into their operations by awarding one company with the 2008 WorkBoat Environmental Award.
Shipyard Day is pleased to have the Chief Operating Officer of one of the world’s most innovative providers of maritime logistics and transportation services, as well as engineering and shipbuilding services. Gary Faber will discuss the boatbuilding aspect of Foss as well as the initiatives that Foss has taken on becoming environmentally friendly and the impact it has made.
