India Shipping Summit 2009
Posted on August 16th 2009 | By admin

India Shipping Summit conference and exhibition has an excellent track record since its establishment in 2005, each year bringing together over 500 decision-makers from India and around the world to network and discuss issues of the day.
Despite the global economic downturn, experts predict that India’s economy will continue to be fast growing, as will its maritime sector, which is pressing ahead with expansion of its 900-strong fleet and improvements to its 12 major and 100+ minor ports and numerous shipyards.
India Shipping Summit 2009 will once again serve as a forum to address the most topical issues affecting India’s shipping industry, such as: port infrastructure challenges, reduced money flow, charter party failures, container market vulnerability, efficient management models, technological advances in shipbuilding, environmental initiatives and many more.
Where: Mumbai, India
When: October 20 – 22, 2009
