It is a contentious issue, allowing the oceans to be rented to farm fish. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and the Gulf of Mexico Fishery Management Council are hatching a plan to do just that and the commercial fishing industry and its proponents are not happy about it. Come hear from representatives from NOAA and aquaculture proponents on how they believe their plans will increase US seafood output and from those in the commercial fishing industry on how they believe it will cause environmental and economic consequences. This moderator-run panel will look at both sides of this issue and give you the opportunity to form your opinion.

Speaker(s): Charlie Smith, Christine Lizzi, Dr. Michael Rubino, Jerry Fraser, Joe Hendrix, Margaret Curole
