NEVA 2007 – an unprecedented success for exhibitor, delegate and visitor alike!
With 808 exhibitors, 50 per cent of whom came from outside Russia, the event bettered NEVA 2005 by a staggering 33 per cent! Testament to the vibrancy of the Russian maritime markets, 65 per cent of the stand space was taken by domestic enterprises, including “United Industry Corporation”, the newly established State-owned Shipbuilding Group, as well as “Sovremenny Commercial Fleet”, the new name for the currently merging Sovcomflot and Novoship shipping companies which will create the world’s fifth largest fleet.

NEVA – drawing together the entire Russian maritime chain under one roof
For anyone with a serious commitment to the maritime industry, Russia will feature highly on their business agenda. Already the world’s second biggest exporter of oil, and home to the largest known reserves of natural gas, Russia sees the commercial development of these resources inextricably linked with the development of its maritime chain and infrastructure.
NEVA – a unique gateway to the Russian maritime scene
Russia is one of today’s most significant maritime nations, and is set to play an increasingly influential and decisive role on the global maritime scene in the twenty first century. Once every two years the national industry converges in St Petersburg, the nation’s “Maritime Capital”, to attend the NEVA exhibition. Quite simply, for any magazine reporting on the world’s shipping, shipbuilding, port and offshore sectors, NEVA, is a must-attend event.
