The U.S. Chapter of the Women’s International Shipping & Trading Association (WISTA) is the proud host of WISTA’s 2008 Annual Conference, which is set for October 15-17, 2008 in New Orleans, Louisiana. The theme of this year’s Conference is “Raising the Profile – Reducing the Footprint”, highlights two of WISTA’s main goals — fostering women in the marine industry and reducing the industry’s impact on the environment.
